"Coming back is not the same as coming home" or something like that wrote Remarque in his book 'Station am Horizont'. And I totally agree with him.
I think a lot about what I call "home", you know, especially when it's Christmas. Though I haven't decided yet whether the place I'm living in (now for 10 or so years) and where I grew up is what I will call home after another 10 or 20 years.
